Bundle Includes:
# XSi Refurbished SLR Camera
# EF-S 18-200 IS USM Lens
# $50 NFLShop.com Coupon
# 4GB SDHC Memory Card
# XSi DVD
# Carrying Bag

I am guessing this is a typo, and I have an email in to Canon support, but I thought you might want to keep an eye on this. The lens itself has an MSRP of $699, so I am guessing there is an error somewhere. I have also pasted below my email exchange to date. I am still awaiting a final response on if this is posted correctly and I will update when I receive a response.

Thank you for your inquiry. We value you as a Canon customer and
appreciate the opportunity to assist you with information on the EF-S
18-200 IS USM lens.

Details on this particular lens can be found at:

http://www.usa.canon.com …egoryid=149&modelid=17518 (external link)

We hope this information is helpful to you. Please let us know if we
can be of any further assistance with Canon's products.

Thank you for choosing Canon.

Sincerely,

Stephen
Technical Support Representative

Original Message Follows:
---------------

I was looking at the following item:
http://shop.usa.canon.com …46001_-1?WT.mc_id=C126149 (external link)

In the description it says that it includes an EF-S 18-200 IS USM Lens.
Where can I find information about this lens? The only one I can find,
2752B002, does not talk about the USM functionality.

Thanks

My follow-up email:

Thanks for the info. Can you confirm that the listing is correct? It
seems odd that a $699 lens is being packaged with an Xsi, gift card,
and bag for $699.

Thanks

Thank you for your response.

I have double checked and the lens appears to be correct. *If you notice
on the web page for the promotion, the NFL kit used to be $984.97.

We hope this information is helpful to you. *Please let us know if we
can be of any further assistance with Canon's products and services.

Thank you for choosing Canon.

Sincerely,

Stephen

seems to be a great offer.

Decent deal if you don't mind getting a black or silver body. The kit is refurbished but I've had great luck with Canon refurbished gear.

It is a typo because in the description it says 18-55, but, still it is advertised, they pretty much have to honor it.

I think they have issues with whoever is responsible for maintaining the webstore, look at what is posted on the front page. It says the kit comes with the 18-55 IS and the 55-225 IS. I am pretty sure that doesn't even exist. And when you click on the link it goes to a different kit, the one aforementioned.

Thanks thetolleyman, I thought it looked too good. I do have my incident number, with the CSR verifying that the 18-200 does come with this offer if someone wants to try it out. :)

I also contacted Customer Service, they do intend on honoring that ad.

Well I just got off of the phone with them for the second time today. Earlier they said it did include the 18-200 after double checking. I started the order and did not pay. I called a little bit ago to pay for the order and confirm it included the 18-200. The said it does NOT, that its a mistake and it should be the 55-250. The woman supposedly had a meeting with her supervisors and just called me back and said it indeed is a mistake. They have my order pending so if they honor the deal for anyone please post it here so I can have them honor it for me as well.

Thanks,

Steve

I saved the email that I got from them, much like the one nateobot posted, and of course the online order receipt which they emailed to me as well as a printed out copy of the ad itself stating that it was for a 18-200 IS, so I think we'll be all right, if nothing else, I'm sure they will refund and return.

The woman from Canon just called me to inform me that they fixed the typo error on the site and that they would NOT honor the deal with the 18-200mm lens. The deal only includes the the 55-250 and 18-55. So I still have my order on hold with them waiting to find out if anyone here is going to have them actually honor the original deal. Please post any info here when you find out.

Steve

Any updated info thetolleyman or nateobot on if you're getting the 18-200mm in your order? Still waiting to see if they are going to honor the original typo. Please let me know so I can contact them.

Thanks,

Steve

Okay, I guess we're screwed! Mine came today, its a XSI refurb kit with the 18-55 is, and 55-250 IS. That is not only not what was on the home page of the store, but not even an available option the day I placed the order.

Anyway, Customer Service is apparently closed on weekends, although it states perfectly that they are open Monday -Sunday 8 am til midnight on the packing list that came with the stuff.

I doubt I'll ever trust that shop again, they have made so many mistakes, with just this order.
