How do I know? Because The Wife just emailed me to say he has a new love and I can sleep on the couch! And to think this is the same woman who pitched a small fit when I spent $600 on the EF-S 10-22!

Indeed. Since The Wife has gotten back into photography, I've learned that as far as equipment goes, "What's her's is her's and what's mine is her's." Getting her to share is going to take some effort on my part!

You mean she has trained you to be the guy who carries her equipment around for her?

Congrats. I'm still waiting for my procurement folks to actually place the order for mine, which is frustrating since the instant rebate ends on Saturday....

Do what I did and get her shooting herself. Now SHE'S the one making expensive purchases. She's tasted L glass, and will never be satisfied with anything else ever again...

Congrats on a your new lens. I think you wife will understand better when you explain to her that your new lens will make her look some much better than the old lens.

Camera bag? Maybe. She's never been much of a shoe hoarder. Give her the choice between a 5D II and a diamond necklace, she'd start talking about the beauty of full frame...
