You should have everything you need. I am taking an "intro to digital photography" class and I have the 40D, Sigma 18-50, Canon "Nifty-Fifty", Canon 70-200 F4 and a tripod. egordon99 Cream of the Crop 10,247 posts Likes: 3 Joined Feb 2008 Location: Philly 'burbs More info | I took B&W FILM photography in high school. I had an Olympus OM with a 50mm lens (I think it was an f/2?). I made out ok. Developing the film was kind of a pain, but I loved making prints!
