simple swamp tree. always liked the graphic look of these kinds of images.

Well it does now and that's a cracking shot. I love to see the grain and markings almost as much as the growing tree. It shows a boat load of the tree's life.


My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I could have cloned out those branches on the right side I think, but I sort of like them for some reason.

When I saw that I thought wow, that had figure and character in that tree.
I could imagine that would be very attractive timber now gone elsewhere.
But even that stump could be cut lower and retrieved.
