I'm not sure but suspect White Gum ~ Eucalyptus viminalis.
The early morning light had been awesome and I'd gone past these then backed up. By then they were no longer bathed in light.
Another time.
Hadn't noticed the red flower. Suspect garden weed. I was just heading to a meeting with our Parks blokes re weeds in the Mt Roland reserve and if this is what I suspect then all the more reason for educating the public
