Testing out my "new-to-me" Nikon D700 camera. Here in South Texas, many of our trees have leaves on them year-round. This tree is from my front yard, with the backlit sky.

Mightily impressed with this D700!

Two weeks after I took this pic, the ocean had taken enough sand that the tree has fallen over. It is still living, but will never look like this again.
