A few shots from Wednesday nights game, Rockford Icehogs vs. Houston Aeros.

Todd, great work, esp. in the crappy lighting at the MetroCentre and through the glass. Colors look great for ISO 3200. Only criticism is I'm not entirely sure on the "action" going on in most of them.

I was shooting the game for the Houston Chronicle last night... any chance you were the guy wearing the black 'Hogs jersey? I ask as that was the only person I didn't recognize from before down there

Get any of Dauost's mythical "goal interference" or the Aeros' 2nd goal that either went thru the net or rebounded off the back post?

Yeah, that was me. Was actually my first time shooting on ice; I'm shooting for a small paper her in town. I was only shooting for the second and about half of the third. I did manage to get a few shots of the "interference" goal, but the shots didn't turn out so hot (I'll attribute that to my first time shooting on the ice). And man did Dubielewicz go off of the ref for that call!! Since I was only down there for a short time, I didn't get much action down on that end, so I am hoping Friday will be better for me.

Are you covering the game on Friday as well? If so, stop by and introduce yourself. I'll have my jersey on again, so I'll be easy to spot.

Cool, shooting down low is alot more difficult than shooting higher IMO.

Look forward to hopefully meeting up Friday. If you're shooting near the backup goalie on Friday, take a look at "his" helmet then compare it to whoever is in net. Pretty funny.
