I haven't shot in a very long time so I'm trying to get back into the routine.

#3 does it for me. The angle, DOF, and pose are the best of the three, IMO.

I'm not sure I feel the back lighting tho. It seems too high to me. The first two are especially blown out. Also, you do a lot of PP on the eyes? If so, I'd ease up on the whites. Kinda look painted on. (Just my 2 cents)

But, other than those items ... good job.

Thanks. I was just experimenting with the backlight. What are you seeing as blown out? Certain parts are intended that way, so I'm just curious. I did a little PP on the eyes, they seem to be brighter after I convert to jpg for some reason. I'll have to tone it down when I convert.

As was said, the eyes need to be toned down they're a bit overdone. Liked 1 and 3, no. 2 seems to have a red color cast (at least on my screen) that looks like she has one big sunburn.

Yea. I figured the back light was intentional (especially the 1st), I was mentioning that it's just not my preference and feel that it doesn't necessarily "help" the photos. For instance, on the 2nd one ... her hairline is lost in the BG. But, I see what you were going for. Just not sure if I buy into the whole look of them.

But, no worries. Really .. I think you did great on these.
Just personal preferences, I guess. ;)

#3 is the nicest. #2 is really sharp, but I do not like the awkward expression on the girl's face.
