I am looking for replacement sensor filters for Canon (or other) cameras. I know lifepixel and maxmax sell some, but it doesn't appear that they sell a whole bunch of versions, in particular the one I want.

590nm appears to be really close to the style of IR (or sorta-IR) I am going for. Lifepixel's newest conversion is very similar to what I think 590nm would yield, but they don't sell the filters for DIY.

Does anyone know of a shop or similar on ebay, www, etc that sell replacement filters of this sort?

Thanks.

Not sure what wavelength 590 is, but have you tried in the Astronomy Forum? Those guys are really into filters. I once saw a link to a company that makes filters that just sort of fit into the lens mount hole in the body, then you just attach the lens as normal. Completely reversable, and I think they came in different wavelengths.

Edmunds Scientific used to sell them years ago, don't know if they still do.
