Crocodiles do swallow !!!

This magnificent beast sits at the waters edge next to the lodge in Kenya waiting to be fed at 7pm each night.

In the second and third pictures you can see the size of food it can swallow whole, yes it was the size of a football - amazing to see.

1. Sitting in the sun watching the world go by...

2. That's one big chunk of meat and bone.

3. The croc moves over to protect it's other bits of meat.

4. After a few minutes it pushed the food to the front of it's mouth then opened wide and swallowed it whole

In the last shot you can see the tail of a second croc. There is a very rickety fence right next to that croc.

When it turned I did run away like a little girl...:)
