Very nice for hand helds, Tony! What camera and what settings? Must be pretty high ISO and I do not see much noise.
For #1 I would prefer a closer crop with just the glass and arrow. The rest is distracting and irrelevant.

Just wondering why you had exposure compensation set in #1. May be forgot to switch it of...???

Good setting albeit that with a tripod you would have had some fexibility. Looking at #1 again I notice that probably the rings of light on the cocktail glass are "moving" (or alternating) . They are not all on. With a longer exposure time and a tripod you would have caught that and it would have made the shot more complete.

But again very nice shots, both. I would love to have a go at Las Vegas (not the gambling but all the photo opportunities....)

ya, I also noticed the exposure compensation, I forgot about it :-) yes I had other shots of the cocktails glass with more colors, good catch. Night shots are always good here in Las Vegas, but I have to try day shots, another good one is the air show, this is the home city of the US Air Force Thunderbirds and we have a good 3 day shows in Nov and I even had a chance to watch a special VIP show that placed us really at the best place to shoot. On Sunday the meet up group is meeting at the new City Center, an $8 Billion mega structure..cheers
