First off thanks to John, Cindy, Patrick and Link for your sage advice and itinerary suggestions...I try to do the same for Seattle visitors...and feel free to correct my locations.

Anyway in town for a conference and staying at the Hilton in tourist central. On the last day I extended a day so I could get out of Waikiki for hopefully some more interesting shots. I took my 5D, tripod, filters and 85L, 80-200L, 14L and 17-40L.

1. Out front of the Hilton one eve

Beautiful work.... I love Hawaii. Next time you'll have to go see the volcanoes on the Big Island. :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing them.

I had the good fortune to be stationed there for two years, from 1964 to 1966.

Great shots. Looks like you had a good time. And it seems you took my advice on a drive up the east side too :D

Keep up the great work.
