Just wondering how you know that you're the best photographer in your area. What yardstick did you use to gauge this lofty title?

I know, his gear list only fits on one page!! ;)

EOS 50D | 17-55 f/2.8 IS | 70-200 f/2.8 IS L | 100mm f/2.8 macro | 580EX | 430 EX | 430 EZ | Team Buff!!

A gear list never makes the photographer.

Posters who dislike iPhones.

Well up to this point this thread has remained completely on track with no personal attacks and you just had to cross the line:lol:

Do you have an iphone? Have you ever dialed 702-0028? Just curious
If it is an issue with mine I may just have to upgrade. My phone may be limiting my talent just like my camera

If you don't want to deal with trolls, I suggest a paid forum where you must use your own name. :p ;)

Just kidding.

Sorry you feel that way Ernst, to be honest you kinda pout out the chum and kept it well supplied.
Not to mention you posted it in a thread about people being annoyed ;)
If you ask me perhaps we have a different definition of a troll as well

^^ I must say, usually a troll is the initiator of a discussion/conflict not the people replying.

Your question was rhetorical right?! ;)

Let's discuss this.

What makes a photographer "the best"?

Money?

Fame?

Luck?

We need this more defined. Are we talking publicly touted or self confessed ;)

Gotta ask... why are you looking at POTN while driving? We're that good?!

Perhaps Pekka should start charging $249 a year!

I got nuthin better to look at. Roads all look the same, post change every minute:D

Do not drive while on POTN as it may be a hazard to small woodland critters that can easily fall victim to your automobile the rest insurance should cover

You guys are jerks for messing with Ernst that way..........he probably is a much better photographer than any of you. Admit it and get over it.

Probably.

Okay, Okay! I admit it, he's much better than me! He's not just the best in his area, he's the best in ANY area! He's the Chuck Norris of photography!

In fact:
Ernst doesn't wait for the light when he shoots a landscape - the light waits for him.

For every 10 shots that Ernst takes, 11 are keepers.

Ernst doesn't adjust his DOF, he changes space-time.

Ohhh that feels good to finally admit that.
