Wow, never seen or heard of this little guy. But if he's at a feeder, he'll be back. I'd love to see more shots of him. :)

Here's one I took last summer. I think it was an adult feeding a young one a piece of suet.

Great catch. I have had a small family in my yard for four years and there are tame ones in the park, and I have never seen one nesting or feeding a young one. They bring the new guys to the yard, but only after they are on their own.

They haven't been back to the feeder for a couple of days. Usually when they come in they come with a small flock of pigmy nuthatches. They always seem to travel together. I can't wait to see them as I just got a new 50D and want to get some bird shots with it.
