A friend of mine bought a 2010 Evo X MR, and it's a week old.

Ironic you say that - over the last two nights, I did 12 cars, only 4 of those were 'coloured', the rest were all white.

Racist.

I like the first & last location the best. Wish the lighting wasn't so flat & contours of the bodies showed more character.

It's the same location, just different angles :)

Problem with flat coloured cars... it doesn't show reflections and curves as well.

Well, that's the problem that you need to solve, isn't it? Every car can't be a silver one.

Maybe not "as well" as a black car, But on second thought, I forgot about MHO's shot: Photochoped Audi S5
When you help it out with the lighting, it reflects pretty well, doesn't it?

2,3 4 and 8 are my faves, with the hard decision being between 2 and 3.

A potentially dumb question (I have this knack), regarding the reflection and contours of white cars.

Would lighting something OOF so that it introduces some colour to the lighting help? To give the lines something to reflect? Bear in mind that I doubt my bouncing counts as OTC flash work.

Oops, that's it. I've removed all doubt.
