from the Downy's I've been posting over the past couple of weeks. We actually had some decent sunlight today! And the birds were out in force. I was able to get a little time in with the camera and really enjoyed the nice weather. It was even seasonable temps today too!

That little Tufted is one of my favourite birds but rarely get one myself. This one is a beauty Dave.

Thank you Joe. They are an "active" bird, no doubt!

Thanks Dave. Neither the Chickadee and Titmouse stay in one place for very long. And the Chickadee's black and white coloring adds another challenge to getting an acceptable shot for sure!

I must have missed this one Dave.

I like the Titmouse a lot and the Chickadee is nice as well. The Chickadee has some hot spots around the cheeks (255 in CS3) but the exposure on the blacks is great.

Excellent shots Dave, I really like the chickadee's details... unfortunately, I never get to see the "tufted one" in my area.

Thanks Duane. I appreciate your input. Black and white colored birds, and especially ones like the Chickadee with such bright whites and deep blacks, make for a real challenge. But I am learning with each one and having fun. And your help along the way is appreciated.
