I went back to reedit this photo since my blending wasn't so clean the first time I posted it. Well, here's a re-edit and I definitely know it's a cleaner blend than before. C&C appreciated. Thanks! :)

Edit: I like this version better since there was a storm coming in.

Technically a fine photograph, a beautiful compostion, and you're right, the re-edit is sharper and cleaner, but I think the optimum version of this shot lies somewhere between the original and your re-edit

I submit your re-edit has lost too much of the detail in the wooden deck and the rock is too dark to my eyes......I guess I'd like to see a middle version, with the main elements of the shot per the original version with the water of the re-edit effort.

respectfully,

JZG

Thanks for the input JZG. I agree. The foreground needs some adjustment. It's an easy fix really. :) I've been deep in my knees with learning blending, masking. etc. Thanks again for the feedback. I'll repost another edit. :)

Nope. This was taken with the 16-35 II. If the Zeiss 21 was released before my trip, I would've bought it. :) The new Zeiss was released later in December.

I'm still learning the ropes of the Zeiss 21 but, it's a stellar performer. :)

Great pic. I love living on the Central coast. There is so much to photograph and so little time.
