Went out this morning to try for hand feeding pictures. Got a few that I liked and got one shot of a leucistic ( i guess, or semi-leucistic ) chickadee. Maybe we can call it a baldcapped chickadee.

He was in and out really fast. Never got close to the models' hand. Maybe he'll be braver next time out.

ohiofalcon,

These are very nice,,, friendly also as evidenced here...The last is very Unique never seen one before very cool.

btw... 2 Perigrine Falcons at E. 72nd street yesterday, One landed on a Light pole 60 feet from me as I just put the gear in the truck, tried to get it back out but he flew off, The 2 mates I presume were perched on and off up on the smoke stacks of the power plant, dropped down on the Ice Off Erie to feed on a Dead gull I presume.

Dan,
Thanks. Chickadees are always fun to work with. Very friendly!
I had heard about the peregrines in that area a few days ago. Hoping to get up there sometime this week if the weather cooperates.

Cute shots, and interesting to see the leucistic bird as I was only reading about such things yesterday.
