I've seen a lot of Squirrel shots lately. Here's my contribution. Taken at 300mm with a 75-300 USM. Feel free to add.

Nice shots. #2 is near perfect. The first one could use a tad sharpening. It looks as if there was a bit of motion blur. Without exif it's hard to tell but I'm guessing that it was shot below 1/400

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

The first one was taken at 1/800sec, f5.6, ISO 1250. The lighting was really poor and I was really close to it at that point. Maybe just inside the minimum focusing distance. I can't remember what the minimum is on that lens but I was only a couple of feet away. The second one was 1/320, f5.6, ISO 500. They were both taken at 300mm. I shelled all the peanuts and had them all in a little pile. At one point it was taking them right from the hand.
