Great shots Dessie. Especially like 1 and 6.
Unfortunately won't be posting any 7D shots for a while as the autofocus is not up to scratch for sport I'm afraid. Had two outings with it and am less than impressed with the low ISO noise and poor focusing compared to my 40D and even the 20D.

I like #6 the best, knowing nothing about the sport. Looks like Rugby with a soccer (foot) ball to a New Yorker. Looks like nice late-day light.

The shots look good to me, nice and sharp, good exposure. I used to think Australian Rules Football was THE game until I saw a Gaelic football match. I wish we in the US could get it regularly on TV.

I learned about it a little while back (the sport) and it looks extremely tough.

I'd get myself killed if I tried it. Several years ago we had a neighborhood football game (American football) and I got really beat up. That wasn't a big deal as bruises and scrapes (and aching muscles) go away quickly enough, but I broke my pinky. Yeah, my pinky. I could live with the pain (it wasn't that bad), but I had to have a cast with a metal bar for several weeks, and it looked like perpetual tea time everywhere I went with my pinky sticking out and snagging on everything.

And I was a lucky one. We had a broken colar bone that day and many other broken arms.

None of the wives were impressed, so we all lost.

Thank you. bw!
