The snow is gray because you have not compensated for shooting in snow. It looks like you used center point metering which was also a mistake because your exposure will change dramatically depending on whether you actually get the skier in the center of the frame. Since you seem to have metered for the snow in each case try pushing the exposure up +0.5 stops and see what they look like. Or alternatively you could try +0.3 stops and add a bunch of contrast and see how that looks.

I've skied Todd (Sunpeaks) for many years. Were these shots in-bounds?

Looks like conditions are good right now in Sun Peaks. I usually go there in February.
Like cwood says, I would try to bump your exposure up, 2/3 to one full stop works for my

Conditions are awesome right now, or at least were yesterday. I'll definitely have to try that either next time I shoot or just on the computer.

Those are crazy tough shadows. The action is great, but you need to find another spot or angle. Even looking directly at the sun and/or with a flash.
