Ever since I got that new combo 5D MKII + BIGMOS, I knew I had to offer some duck sacrifice to the POTN gods.
Here they are finally, one of the Hooded Mergansers couples that I believe came South from Canada for winter, probably sent over by Harvey! (Because I have never seen them in these waters in summer).
I know the pic pales compared with some others (Harvey's ducks for example) - But I'm no duck specialist and these are awfully skittish, then I guess it will be OK for a sacrifice...
