The first one is the better of the 2 but maybe a little flat? I think it could be exposed a little brighter. The bottom one is nice but the shadow on the back wall seems a little harsh for a bounced flash. Heres some from new years when I had just gotten my 430EXII

Just a bit of shine on the head in the first. Did you really bounce straight up or at an angle? I ask this because of the shadow in #2 which should have been less when bouncing straight up. But no dark eye-sockets (is what sometimes happens when you bounce) so that is good. Bit more contrast may be in #1.... My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

I did a quick run but when you take a bit more time you can perfect it. Just paint the shadow out on a second layer. My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

His first post said he was taking snapshots, I don't see where he's claiming they are anything more. It's a lens not a lense!
