competitive cheerleading

nice to see some more cheerleading here. Is that Cheer Athletics? Faster glass is a must! As others said before, the lighting can be very tough to deal with. Try to nail the peaks and also WB in camera. Saves alot of headaches and time with less PP.
I shot some myself this weekend (daughter competed at Jamfest in Indy, but I haven't even pulled the cards out of the camera yet!) I will get some up soon.
As far as carrying the laptop with you....yes, it can get heavy. I had my bag full all weekend and will not do that again! ( Macbook pro 17", 1D MK III, Xsi, 100mm, 70-200 2.8 IS, 50mm 1.8 and all the cables and misc. stuff to go along with it all packed in my bag all weekend.... next time I will bring the roller bag!)

Thanks for everyone's input. I got better pics day 2 and I shot in raw and jpeg. I will upload probably tomorrow for more critiques. I have to switch gears now and get ready to go to an outdoor soccer tournament this weekend. More to learn....

Gym Star - looked at your photos and see you were at Cheersport. We were there too - CNY Storm!

I like going to Atlanta for this one, even though I failed to get the WB right and shot in AV mode... if we go next year, I will hopefully get better pics. Anytime Buffalo Envy is performing, just look for the tall guy in the front with the white lens and say hi... although there are rumors we are not going to Cheersport next year....
