Another game with the 1D MKIV. I really like this camera!!!! Chicago outlasted us in the shoot-out 4-3. Hawks have a great young team...... 1st shot shows where we shoot from at ice level, the size of that opening insn't that big. That shot was with a 15mm fisheye...

Great pictures! First time going through the sports pics. I assume you have special access for this. My friend was not allowed to bring his camera with a cheap telephoto even though he was sitting in the upper bowl in Calgary.

Go Sens!

Excellent shots, once again. Amazing how much of a difference the strobes make.

The only thing that would make these better would be a picture of the shootout when he flicked the puck slow motion style over the goalies arm!!

Nice pictures!!

great shots.
Thanks for posting the cut out photo(fisheye)
I thought most cut outs were higher off the boards than this? Often the puck is shot off the glass and it seems to ride/roll along the top of the boards; I guess you have to be quick with removing the camera. I assume there is a plug that you can place in the hole when you are not actively shooting?

Yes, there is a plug, you will see this in place in this shot behind the player.
