Hi folks,
I havent shared much because I havent been shooting much. But this time indoors has allowed me to finish a project started some time ago. The subject is a 1/3rd scale WWI german pilot figure for a radio control model and is about 8 inches tall. I painted it with oils and enamel. The figure is from http://www.acesofiron.com/home.htm (external link) comments about how I took the photos and the artwork much apperciated. Thanks for looking

Mike

HA, looks almost real. What's it made of? the wrinkled sheet background is a bit distracting. Might be more real world if you could find an old piece of tent canvas. :)

or in B/w the figure is a molded synthetic with foam filler, very light for use in rc flying. the funny thing is I have been painting it for 2 years almost... but really the time scale is about 4 months total pianting time. The wrinkles are getting the grief on these shots,, trial and error.
