Ideas for improvement

Over at FM forums, they just added some new features that I would really like to see done here. At the title of the thread you have the choice of cliking on the start of the thread or page 2 or 3 (and the new feature) end = last comment. So nice to be able to go to the end instead of wading throught just the last page. Anothe thing they have that is kinda interesting: A list of the most prolific contributors/members in order and also by average per day.

You can pretty much do most of that here. If you click on the user's name you can see their average post count per day.

You can also click on the "last page" link alongside most threads. Not sure what else you really need...?

When you open a thread that has new posts (new for you), there is a link in the top left pointing to the first unread post:

HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'text/html'

View first unread is one more button press. Both forward and backward and only if I do not clean out my computer. Somehting I do on a regular basis.

Thanks, if there is ever a good time to make wishes for POTN: now is a very good time. Frankly I find need to get to get straight to last comment a bit odd, as we have here "first unread" or "last page" are more logical.

How do you define "profilic", then? Post count does not tell much about quality, it's more like "activity" meter. There are many users who do not write much but when they write it's all golden. We mods have thought about creating various "user rating" systems and we have always come to conclusion that we have no system worth implementing yet.

We'll keep on thinking - anything is possible but it has to hold water for a long time.

And thank you for that!

it also has this on many other forums such as BMX-forum. it makes it alot easier to make your way around. it also gives you an option to input a page you wish to go to.
