Yea I think I was pulling off my lens when he did that, was still nice to get some shots during the shootout, don't have the opprutunity too often.

Good to to see them make a comeback Thanks for the comment, I've been a goalie ever since I could stand up on skates and always did have the passion for white goalie equipment, it just looks cool, but also a fan of colored pads, especially what they can do now with graphics.

Photograph the Hockey at my local team here in Edinburgh and only using a 100-400 with a 50D so you can imagine results arent anywhere near like this but they aint to shabby ![]() Think the lighting at our rink doesnt help either, its actually pretty poor as think they save some money by not using them all!! Cheers Ross Thanks for looking, I was using my sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 for the shoot.

Thanks, I always like to capture that raw emotion when I can, I did like the below shot of John Madden when they were playing a little skit on the overhead at the Joe.

Six months later, knee surgery. Haven't played since........... at least the pads still look great. Sorry to hear about that, I was always a fan of Brian's equipement but there prices always seemed high to me, I'm currently in a pair of Heaton's that I bought about 3 years ago, but Arthritis is seeting into my knees and I keep telling them I might hang it up, but for some reason they won't let me quit.
