Well it is just about time to start Volume 4. We decided to wait until after the first of the year to start rather than during the holidays.
We have employed a great staff for the past three volumes and would like to offer them big a THANKS for all of their hard work. But alas, some of them have retired and we are in need of replacements. The remaining members of the book committee are looking for 3-4 individuals to join our team.
There are really no technical qualifications to join the team. However there are a couple of traits that are important to continuing the POTN Book project; enthusism and commitment. Both of these traits are equally important, so we do not want to diminish either of them but do want to make you aware of the commitment trait. The book project encompasses about 8-12 months of work where each of us participate to accomplish the publishing of a quality book. Like with any other team we disburse the work load and on occasion pick up a little extra work to “make it happen.” If you think that you have the enthusiasm and commitment to share and lead the book team along side your fellow POTNer’s, please send us a PM expressing your interest and tell us why you want to be apart of the BC (send it to me and I will forward it to the rest of the Book Committee). Please respond by 1 February 2010. The remaining BC members will choose from those interested to compile the Volume 4 team.
Once the team is put together we will move forward with Volume 4. So if you would like to assist as Book Team member rather than a Book Committee member, keep an eye out for an announcement.
