I'm so tired of having to clean my nose grease or smudges off the lcd screen, do you think Canon will make one?
Thanks,
Al

Bill Boehme wrote in post #9423162 Or ... maybe a nose sock. I have a very greasy nose and keep my LCD screen on my 7D well lubricated. The problem with extenders is that they reduce the size of the viewfinder image and sometimes crop the view a bit. I have one on my XTi and finally took the lenses out of the extender. unless you mod it and take out the magnifying thingy inside. It's an easy mode using the small philips screw driver. Jerome

apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | You can, but it doesn't make any difference, as that's what the 7D is delivered with. Anders

apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | Maybe it does because on a camera like the 1D Mark III, the eyepiece shutter must also be housed inside the viewfinder. There is no such shutter on the 7D. It has the dioptric adjustment where the shutter lever is on the 1D Mark III, and nothing at all on the other side. Anders

It would of been nice if the 7D had a similar design as the 1D eyepiece. I guess I will just have to deal with the nose grease on the lcd.

Dang. I have used my Angle Finder C on my 7D. You might need to search through your spare parts to find the other adapter that came with the Angle Finder. At 1.25X, you can see the full FOV, but at 2.5X, you see a circle that does not cover everything. Atmospheric haze in images? Click for Tutorial to Reduce Atmospheric Haze with Photoshop.
