The second one shows a few more but interesting seeing such a large animal wading through the marshland.

It was indeed, amazing place. Loved everywhere we went in Kenya and looking to book again for this christmas.

I'm going back at xmas too. Probably just do the mara (my 1st time in 4 trips) and a few trips to nairobi park. Samburu is great, but a looong drive. 100-400 arrives tomorrow... w00t.

Loved the Mara where I was 6 feet away from a male lion - amazing just doesn't seem to cover it...

I think the Lakes were my favourite place as we saw everything including the leopard.

You will love the 100-400mm don't know what I would do without it. :D
