My first shots in 2010

Hi all

In the land of ice and snow we only enjoy daylight for few hours each day in January and the sun is very low in the sky. Any sensible bird photographer would stay in the house with a warm cup of coffee and dream about summer. Well I'm not sensible.
Here are my first shots in 2010. The European Robin is a vagrant here in Iceland and these are actually my first decent shots of this species.

But for those few hours of daylight it sure adds a lot to the images. Exceptional work as always Sindri.

In the right light the common Starling is exceptionally beautiful Sindri. I've never seen a European Robin and that's also a gorgeous bird and especially when you photograph them. Thanks for posting these.

Just stunning shots. The detail in the Robin and the Bunting is amazing. The Starling is beyond being a photograph, it's a piece of art. I love it. I just told dbriz that after watching his series I should just pack it in altogether, now I'm quite sure I should...
