The 7D has several resolution and frame rate choices to shoot video with.

What settings are you using when and why?

And what are you using for post production?

Where do your videos end up? Home, YouTube, etc.

30fps(29.97) 1920x1080. This is the NTSC standard framerate that works on DVD, bluray, and web. I haven't had the time to test much of the 60p for slow-mo but those are the only two we mess w/ bc I am in America.

I convert to neoscene .avi and cut in vegas and render to 1280x720. highly recommend cineform neoscene.

my next project has four cameras, all neoscene codec wrapped in .avi. hopefully things wont crash on me.
