Thanks! I'm not using it yet with the 7D. I may, but even at ISO 2500 the noise produced really isn't an issue for me. Haven't printed anything taken with the 7D yet, either though.

Last season, I ran EVERY shot through Neat Image because of the high noise levels associated with the 50D. The 7D has tremendous noise control, IMO.

What I'm still trying to figure out with the 7D is why the RAW images are incredibly clean in DPP (with NR off) but become a bit noisy when opened in Elements after the RAW to JPEG conversion.

Cool! Neighboring town and part of the conference so our schools see each other in all sports.

Medina has a sophomore being actively recruited by big 10 schools already. He's 6' 8" and can handle the ball AND drain threes! Wadsworth was really scrapping and hanging in all night. Medina worked hard for every point but came out on top 48-41 ... if that tells you what kind of game it was. Bees were too big inside for our guys and they finally cracked our defense in the 4th qtr to pull out the win. Nice team.

Compared to the 50D, I'm having NO problems with the amount of noise. It's there, but not enough to make me take the extra step of batch processing the images in Neat Image.

Maybe I'll do the ones from Friday night and see what happens! ;)

Ed,

some of the 7D improvements I see over the 50D are: more consitent exposure, (the lights can be 'spotty' in this gym); WAY better noise control; better WB and color on the shots.

Now, if I could just figure out the damn focus system on the camera!!! Getting frustrating.

Indeed! And from the floor shooting angle, it looks as if he has about 60" vertical leaping ability!!!

His feet would need to be closer to the 10 in the Medina jersey to look like a 60" vertical. Great picture dave.
