I have never seen this bird in my area and have no clue what kind it is. Pictures are from from worth anything other than to help me with the ID...Hopefully I can see them again and get better shots

I think it's a towhee but I couldn't tell you exactly which one.

You did well to get the photo, looks like it was moving with a purpose!
