Hello,
I had a shoot with this nice girl. For the first time I used some single-color material for the background and more than one light. I'm really interested in your feedback so don't hold back :)
I forgot to tell her not to wear dark clothes and she came wearing all black. So after shooting some portraits and looking into pictures (I pointed out her body merging with background) we decided to play a little bit. That's where blue shirt comes in.
She was great to work with, very relaxed. We had a great time and I'm looking forward to doing it again.

I like the shots in black where she is very serious, then in blue shirt it seems like she let loose and the wild fun part of her gets releasd.. awesome!

Be careful how where you point your flash. It seems like for the first few photos where your model is wearing black, the flash lit up the bg a little bit which will take the view's attention to that instead of the model.

Really love the lighting on #4! Watch out for the hand crop though.

All the shots look good from a technical and aesthetic perspective with a minor exception - the white balance looks off in the first four (from here it looks like too much green).

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Hmm. White balance is the same in all pictures except the number 4 (a bit warmer). Optical illusion perhaps?

The color balance is definitely different between the first four color images (original post) and the others ("A few more"). The first four appear to have a little too much green and/or yellow tone. It would be easier to tell what's going on by opening and comparing them in Photoshop rather than on the Web.

Color balance is the same in all pictures. I used same WB preset while exporting them, lighting was the same, camera settings were the same. Now that I really look into them I see some green too. Maybe that's something to do with color profile in PS or I got my WB preset for tungsten light a bit wrong. I'll have a look into it anyway, thanks.
