Caught Amtrak's northbound Silver Star in Tampa on Monday. Second engine was a P32-8 "Pepsi Can". We don't see them here that often.

not to be a snickler, but thats not the pepsi-can paint scheme, in Phase IV scheme. Still a nice catch, there are only 15+ Dash8's left in the fleet.

heres the real Pepsi-Can in Phase III for reference

Wow...I don't recall ever seeing one of the Dash 8s in an actual train....occasionally see them in a yard setting. Nice catch.

In my opinion, the best looking Amtrak engine there ever was. Used to see them when I visited my family in Jackson, Michigan all the time.

In my opinion, the best looking Amtrak engines were the GG-1s that I ran from NY to New Haven.

That's a rare Amtrak pain scheme. Most have the PRR colors like the 4935 at the Pennsylvaia Railroad Museum: http://www.piercehaviland.com/rail/railimages/gg14935.jpg (external link)

I have to say I like the PRR paint far more than the Amtrak version.
