Any C&C will be appreciated. Thanks

It seemed to have lost a lot of detail in the web compressed version, i'll try to post a link to the full sized ones.

I like it a lot but that far left light is a bit distracting to me, almost like someone is shining a flashlight into my eyes.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of... I'll try to either crop it out or mask it.

Also does anyone know where I can upload the full res picture? There is a handful more details in the lower right corner of the first picture (the reflection off the doc can clearly be seen in the water, whereas in the websized one it just looks dark on my work (uncalibrated) machine).

I see a perfect dock reflection on my monitor (uncalibrated work station).

Just noticed pic 2 and can offer nothing more, great DOF, composition and execution.

Very nice IVlax. On pic two, you don't get hassled by the "man" using a tripod? I have been hearing lots of flak about using tripods on the memorial or capital grounds. Since you are a local, can you give tips on getting away with tripod use please.

Thanks.

My wife and I were there taking shots, and the security guard casually walked up to us and told us we can't use tripods inside the monument and kept on walking, so by the time he made his rounds the second time my tripod was gone

I *think* they don't restrict "all" tripod usage, just the full-sized ones. Because the guard only came up to us, while there were at least 4 or 5 other people with table top tripods set on the floor or on other structures taking pictures inside the monument.

Thanks for the info. I will pack both tripods next time and see what I can get away with. I heard that they give some kind of excuse like "impeding pedestrian traffic". (Even when it is quiet and not so crowded).

I like the second one but wish the lower part of the curve started in the lower right corner of the frame. Otherwise, very nice.

Interesting perspective, thanks a lot.

My issue with doing that on this current shot is that the reflection from the fountain on the left side will be cut in 1/2, now it looks more "complete", if you know what I mean.

I may go out again and try to do that with a differently composed shot. Appreciate the idea.

Especially with night shots you want to pump up the saturation.
