This GBH was in a tough spot to photo but I was able to get into a spot that allowed for a few decent shots (or so I think).

I agree...when I was shooting I took a few shots like that on purpose to see how the composition would look and I agree with you that it spoils the shot blackcatcara wrote in post #9445983 I never even get half as near as you got... when they see me coming they are always gone. I prefer #1 of your second posting.. it's a good composition with the right sharpness..
