Caught this big fellow and his harem on a recent hiking rip in the Buffalo River Valley near Ponca, Arkansas. Quite a rack on this bull.

There's quite a history to re-establishing elk in Arkansas with several attempts not quite working out, but most of the work done since 1981 has seemed to establish a stable population.
