Nikon SB28 Flash

I just had my old Nikon SB28 sent out to me from my old Nikon film kit..

I would like to use it for off camera flash.. My two 430EX II I trigger via RF-602 flash triggers/receivers..

Now the question,, I can't remember if the SB28 has an optical slave or not.. If so,,how do I activate the optical slave??

I don't have the manual..

I don't think it has optical slave. But what do I know, I just searched the manual pdf. Here is a link, maybe you can find the info you need.

I think the SB-26 was the only one that had the optical trigger.

The Nikon SB-28 or SB-28DX do NOT have a built in optical save.

The SB-26 and SB-80DX both have a built in optical slave.

as well as the SB-800/900...but those are just WAY to expensive to be used as ONLY optical triggers...LOL.
