Not to mention how much you're losing on the 35L for the short period you had it? Did you get it sent off to Canon through QCSA in the end, by the way?

That's bodies for ya. That one that sold in Sydney earlier in the week didn't help.

I think the Dlite skyports only let you wirelessly trigger the flash and not adjust power remotely.

The Quadra does though... oh and I so wish the RX's had LED day-light balanced modelling lights the Quads have

Yeah, there's nothing you can do, it's just... Interesting or disappointing?

Oh yep, I remember now. Would still love a 35L, or to try one out at least, but there's no way I'll have a chance to do either soon.

Missed out on the SLAM rally tonight but I'm glad it was such a hugh turnout. Hopefully it is successful!

Mic - I'm just stating how it is. Ensure when you rent a quadra that you also grab the adapter and the deep octa... then use the DO with just the inner baffle and prepare to drool after the first few shots. It will be my next purchase!

Oh BTW, "Wings Over the Illawarra" is on this coming Sunday for those of you in Sydney wanting a day out. Was pretty darn good last year. Check out... http://www.woi.org.au
