Mic - I'm just stating how it is. Ensure when you rent a quadra that you also grab the adapter and the deep octa... then use the DO with just the inner baffle and prepare to drool after the first few shots. It will be my next purchase!

Ooooh I'm tempted to get that deep octa.... LOL

OMG there is something unhealthy going on here, something similar to when normal law abiding citizens get caught up in a mob riot...

Mic - I'm just stating how it is.

No, you are a blonde-haired devil.

Ensure when you rent a quadra that you also grab the adapter and the deep octa... then use the DO with just the inner baffle and prepare to drool after the first few shots. It will be my next purchase!

Mmmmmm.

Sometimes I'm glad I get "Analysis paralysis". Reading up on Ranger v Quadra. Quadra def good for someone with a dud neck, although that's why all my stuff has wheels on it :-) Ranger good for everything. (It's OK, I know the Quadra is a Ranger as well :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Maybe the new DLite4...Do we get bulk discount ?? Mates rates ?? I hate paying retail ;) !!

Austen.

(Just so I'm clear, the DLite 4 is the same power as the Quadra, without the battery pack or remotes, but with two heads and a kit of other stuff ?? )

I just want to take nice photographs of people.
