Edit: Self edit ;)

Nah, that ain't gonna happen :-)

It's Einsteins, Quadras or Rangers. Einsteins still leading the race.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

1) Why aren't the DLite4's in the running ?
2) That's a significant price-spread there Mic ;)

They're not for me.

And power, and weight, and so on.

Power ??

Same "power" as "The Quadra and the DLite4 are both 400 w/s of power"

or "power" as in.......

"Both the Einsteins and the DLite4's would require me to purchase an Innovatronix inverter to power them"

If it's output power you're concerned about, and the DLites are the same power as the Quarda then how come the Quadras are on the short-list but not the DLites ?

OTOH, If it's electrical supply you're worried about with the DLite4's, how come the Einsteins get a run :p ??

One more thing guys, if there is a bulk order from Australian POTNers, I would send all the items for free. Bulk order should be more than 6 DO or any other item.

Not sure if they're flying that far up... I think they only did that for the Lawrence Hargreave festival of flight thing up at Stanwell. You never know though...

 More likely the "something" greenhood... not sure which one you're talking about since there's so many critically endangered. Here's a pic I took of an endangered donkey orchid growing out west of Goulburn. They "estimate" about 400 left in wild populations recorded from only 3 sites in the general vicinity. A good number of those are thought to be growing on 130 acres earmarked by the land owner for firewood logging. :|

Because they're completely different systems.

Got this yesterday - the joys of going back to work after a week off :-)

http://www.lightcraftworkshop.com/site/page1000.aspx (external link)

To solve this problem, Light Craft Workshop™ creates the Fader ND filter, an adjustable nd filter, the ONLY TRUE fader nd. With one filter, just use your fingers to rotate it like a CPL, you can change the ND from ND2 to ND400 (1 stop to 8 stops of light reduction) at anytime.

To avoid vignetting, we use 1 stops larger front glass. e.g. a 77mm Fader ND, equips with a 77mm back thread (attach to camera lens), and a 82mm front glass/ filter thread.
