I am confused by all the software options, some free, some not, and the amount of people saying if I am not on a Mac then it's ten times tougher. Well I'm not on a Mac, but I still want to make movies to integrate with my slideshows. It's not harder without a Mac. Sony Vegas is really good, and Adobe Premiere Elements is supposed to be great bang for the buck. cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Just wondering if anyone gets prints of their photos done online? And if so, who do you use? After getting 20 odd prints done at the local Harvey Norman I didn't realise the price of $6.95 for each 8x10 print! Surely I can get them done cheaper online for the same quality prints? I own a magical box that captures light!

Al......Ummmmmmmm Mic...Why ?? Partly the "one pack per head' thing, which has been something I've been thinking since the consideration started, not really sure about the rest, but it certainly made me think the ABs were probably better for me. cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

As for video editing on a windows box, Premiere Elements does the job admirably for the price. Officeworks 8x10 and 8x12 prints are around $3.50, mate. Have a look at Snapfish.com.au too, not sure how much they are there but I would suspect it's less than $7 from Hardly Normal!
