Hi all,

Finished the long upload of the piccies from today.

Gallery can be seen here (external link).

Some of my favourites:

Men in tight tights aren't my cup of tea, but from a sports photography side of things, you've done well Scott :)

Nice shots, Scott. Does that first one have a bit of flash or is it just me?

Yeah, over cooked it a little... also that one the strange angle was due to me shooting it at a real hurry and from about mid chest... Definately wasnt ready for them. :D

Decent shot despite that! :) I only noticed on a second look anyway.

Sunsets with no clouds aren't to easy, so here is my failed sunset attempt. The main thing is i learnt a lot, and got some good tips from Phil on msn before. Hoping to go back tomorrow after my portrait shoot and see if i can improve on these.

What do you mean no clouds ? the second shot definitely appears to show clouds on the horizon :P

Seriously though, not bad. I'd have put the sun off on a third, probably on the left, but that's just me.

I'm liking that one the best of the three. Nice colours, more foreground. Maybe a lower angle to emphasise your foreground more ?

Can't say I've ever tried a sunset shot but if it's helping you learn then it's a successful trial shoot, Nic :)

Unfortunately i wouldn't of been able to go any lower, i was standing on the side walk and it was a really high tide so i would of been a bit stuck for room seeing as the sand you see there was the only sand left before it hit the rock wall.
