Congrats on the shoot and good luck with potentially more!
Cheers mate. Just talked to the bloke, and he's VERY happy, both with the pics and the turnaround time.
Quadra's a bit lightweight when compared to the big boys huh? they still do an amazing job, don't totally take them off your list.
Nah, don't think they're for me.

Juice and any other Melbournians interested in bigger lights, see if you can get along and hear Guido from Profoto USA talk about light modifiers..
Seeing its in Collingwood.
I might go, but there's NO way I can afford them. Thanks for the headsup.

I hear what you're saying, but at around $3,000 for a two-light setup, I'd really have trouble justifying that to SWMBO !!

Yup, indeed.
I could sneak the Einstein in under "petty-cash", and for the D-Lite4's / Quadras the CapEx request would likely be "rubber-stamped"...But the Rangers

.........
Yeah, but they do like nice. Don't they Ed?

I'm not going Elinchrom anytime soon at this stage. I really wasn't convinced by the Q's as at 1 pack per head (in order to acheive useable power) I can't justify the cost at this stage in my career.
The RX's are the way to go for me when I decide that the I've reached the AB's limits.
Me too.
That and I couldn't stand the elitest attitude of the sales guy we spoke to.
ME TOO!
He wrote off the D4s, and hadn't heard of Alien Bees, but did assure us that "Elichrom sells 10 times as many as them", which is good work given he hadn't heard of them.
On another note, I've got to figure out how to fold up this diffuser panel now.

Keep twisting
cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)
