Quoted for Al. Shadow dropped, and colour lost. I could probably extend the shadow a little bit more too.

Subtle. Makes for a good watermark.
The only way I'd go for any other design would be for use with heavy white borders.

Like the logo with the drop-shadow, works well.

Uploading eight TIFFs (420MB) from the shoot today - already sent a couple of lots of jpgs - and should have some page layouts back in the morning so I can see how they were used.

Man, I'm still so pumped :-) Realistically, all I did was deliver what I should have delivered from the shoot, but I think the major relief from having it work is driving it :-)

The good news is that he's rapt with the images, and said again that we should be working together more in the future.

OH YEAH!

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

I don't see why not consider yourself a PJ.

Where's the cheapest place to buy an 8GB Extreme III CF card that can get it me me by Friday people? Cameras Direct is $99 but currently out of stock.

Also is anyone in here playing around much with video editing and the 5D2? I am confused by all the software options, some free, some not, and the amount of people saying if I am not on a Mac then it's ten times tougher.

Well I'm not on a Mac, but I still want to make movies to integrate with my slideshows.

Any help?

Probably too late for you now, but I haven't found cheaper than Ryda for CF cards
http://www.ryda.com.au …sh-Memory-Cards-s/329.htm (external link)

I think video editing of 5D2 footage is a PITA on windows and mac. Seems the bit rates are too high for most software (or processors?) to deal with easily and most workflows I have read about involve downsampling and editing with a proxy file and substituting a native file for the final render. Far too much for my meagre brain (and patience) to cope with. Why don't Canon allow a widescreen SD option for video on their cameras?

For those waiting for a Zone Controller, I just noticed this update on the PW site

New Product Updates - February 2010
AC3 ZoneController: Pre-production units will be going into beta testing in March, a delay due to some needed modifications found in alpha testing. Production will follow a successful beta with units most likely hitting stores in April.
