$1400 ono.

Nice price, but out of my league I'm afraid.

Einsteins and PWs not playing nicely together...

I wonder if the CE frequency makes any difference.

Yeah, it'll help the same way it does with the Speedlights, you'd think.

Interesting, though. We should now see a huge outcry from everyone about how PCB should have avoided the RF issue given the grief it caused PW :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

This one's been asked in here before I think, but my search-fu is letting me down.

My missus is going along to the "field of women" at the MCG tomorrow night and I'm wondering if it's worth taking the gear along.

I recall some discussion that lenses up to 200mm are fine, but I don't want to lug all the stuff along to find I'm not allowed in with it.

Anyone know the deal ?

I'm sure PCB will just say buy our cybersyncs, they're reliable and a fraction of the price of PWs and with our lights you can control them with our cybercommander.

The AFL rules were lenses up to 200mm are fine. I'm not sure if they have changed. I've taken a 400mm f5.6L into the footy many times and never had an issue.

I'm sure they will, but it's a poor response.

Thanks Richard. I'll take the chance. Wonder if I'll get enough of a chance to get some reasonable shots to justify carting it all the way in there.:p

It's better than wondering why you didn't drag it all out there! ;)

About to watch new episode of Breaking Bad I downloaded on Monday but haven't got around to watching yet... :)

Got offered a paid gig on Sat night shooting a hip hop band in St Peters for the organisers who want decent shots for their website and the bands too... happy about that.

I just realised I now only have 1 Canon lens... I sold my 350D (with kit 18-55 and 28mm f/2.8 ) to a mate from work last week.

So now, my workhorse 24-70 and 70-200 are both Sigma, I have a Tokina 11-16 and my lowly Nifty Fifty carrying the flag for Canon... and chances are good that the next lens I get will be Sigma too: 85mm f/1.4 when it comes out (if it's as good as I think it will be).
