Thanks, guess I should fill in the rest of the story:

2001 initial diagnosis put on hormone treatment and in a letter from the specialist to my GP I was given two years to live. I said don't think so I've got retirement and a lot of living to do.

2003 retired age 55

2008 pain in upper back that required hospital and the heavy duty painkillers found to be tumor compressing spinal cord at the T4-5 veterbrae rushed to Royal Brisbane Hospital for emergency radiation therapy to shrink tumor. Was paraplegic for a month until the radiation treatment started to shrink the tumor.Taken off hormone treatment as it had become refractory.
This time was given only months to live. My reply don't think so.
Back to Gympie Hospital for rehab and was told might not walk again. My reply watch me.

2009 xmas, tumor on L1 veterbrae shrunk with radiation therapy.

2010 still here and fighting hard, now with chemo.

During all of this I tried the alternative remedies but found they didn't do much for me.
All the time I have maintained as positive an outlook as you can and that with good Doctors I believe has got me this far and will see me through to 2030 at the least.

I'm walking but it may never be 100% what it used to be,got the walking stick.

Well done Boss. My Dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer something like 15 years ago. Was given a few months to live. Spent something like 6 months in Brisbane receiving regular radium treatment. Was heart breaking for Mum putting him on a train with 3 boys under the age of 16 to look after with no income. Dad is still kicking along today, the Prostate the least of his problems - he's had both knees replaced, a triple bypass and hip surgery to sort out Padgeat's on his right side.

Sounds like you have your mind set sorted. Enjoy yourself

Mum's day tax:

Had a three course lunch at my brothers. I'm stuffed and ready for bed now.

Can't believe you with the tiny tummy could fit 3 courses Fill?
Nice Mom tax,:) just wish, as her photographer, you had straightened the necklace.:(

Haha, nah, I got it twice yesterday from my sister in-laws dad! Apart from when they got married, he hasn't seen me drink any alcohol (usually cause I'm hungover or driving), so I copped **** for not having enough drinks yesterday and cause I ate about half of what everyone else ate.

It was hard enough to get her to stand in front of the painting too. :(

Yeah, almost impossible to read - maybe Leo designed it himself :-)

He's a good teacher - I went to one of his wedding workshops and it was good - but this site puts me off. A lot.

Thanks guys, just making sure my browser wasn't screwing it up.

or so you've been told...

I downloaded the trial version last night but haven't had a chance to tinker with it yet. I've previously only had CS3 so I'm expecting something of a learning curve...

Looks quite readable to me. Appears light grey on dark grey to me, at work on my uncalibrated monitor.
